The Foxes and WADBOD take on Zion

As a family, we don’t travel much. This year we have been blessed to leave town TWICE! Once, to the happiest place on earth, and then just last week we got to go to my happy place, Zion National Park.

As a kid, my family went to Zion a few times a year. We would stay at the lodge for a few days and hike all the trails we could. When I was young and full of energy my dad and I actually did Angel’s landing and got quite far and I can’t wait to be able to do that trail again.

This time around I got to show my family the place that I hold near and dear to my heart, and the best part was we went with our WADfamily. The members of WABOD all got together and rented a cabin and spent a few days together.

A trail I have always wanted to do was the Narrows. As a kid we always did the river walk that led up to it, but was never able to get in the water and so this was a magical and exhilarating experience!
